A gasket is
the name given to a wide range of seals, washers
and other such products that are generally placed
between two fittings. The gasket prevents leakage
- either in the form of preventing contamination
or to keep an internal substance from escaping.
A gasket is normally a flat
seal. A 2D profile with an outer diameter and a bolt pattern, often
with an inner diameter as well. This means that larger volume orders
can be easily and quickly die-cut, but with our state-of-the-art
equipment we can produce the same results on smaller volume orders. Gaskets are produced from various materials such as rubber, plastic and non-asbestos sheeting.
Materials
include those with a good compression set, high resistance to oil
and solvents
