Production operator

We currently have 1 afternoon shift opportunity for a Production Operator in our Fabrication department.


  • Read and interpret drawings to plan, set-up and operate equipment and/or prepare for fabrication of material

  • Set-up, adjust and operate machinery/equipment in a safe and efficient manner

  • Layout/load and prepare materials for production

  • Prepare work to be completed by reviewing work orders, materials, products, gauges, machinery and equipment

  • Inspect finished products for defects and conformance to specifications and quality standards

  • Maintain accurate production counts

  • Fabricate, assemble, rework, and repair material using hand tools, power tools and other equipment such as tape measures and calipers

  • Material handling

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives


  • High School diploma

  • Manufacturing experience preferred

  • Mathematical aptitude

  • Good oral and written communication skills

  • Effective problem-solving skills

  • Able to stand for long periods of time and/or kneel for long periods of time

  • High attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and a willingness to learn new skills

  • Flexible, with the ability to work well with others
